Rev. Alan Chandler

Alan is passionate about Church Growth.  So much so that he has dedicate his full-time attention to working with churches and church leaders.  He works because he wants to see revival in America.  He works with Churches because he believes God's plan for revival is through healthy, local congregations.  Consulting churches is the reason he was born.

Church Doctor™

In serving the church, Alan has teamed up with Dr. Kent Hunter and Church Doctor Ministries.  Church Doctor Ministries is a full-service church growth consultation service.

In addition to working as a church growth consultant with Church Doctor, Alan is also available to churches and church leadership groups as a keynote speaker for meetings, retreats, workshops, etc.

Experience:

Alan is an Ordained Elder in the Free Methodist Church of North America.  He has served churches in Southern California, Colorado, and Iowa.

As a second career pastor, He has put the skills he learned as an Emergency Paramedic to good use in the ministry.

His training as a paramedic and as a church doctor combine to make Alan a church diagnostician and church growth specialist.

Alan has addressed groups of pastors and church leaders on the topics of church growth and the condition of the church in America.  Currently, he is developing workshops on Spiritual Gifts, and Discipleship Training.

He is also in the process of co-authoring his first book with Dr. Kent Hunter of Church Doctor Ministries.  More Information will be posted as it becomes available.

Currently Alan is based in Des Moines, Iowa.  In close proximity to the Des Moines International Airport, Alan travels through out America to serve churches.

Personal

Alan has been married to his wife, Cheryl, for 20 years.  He has two children 17 and 14.

Alan loves to cook.  In fact, he would say that he is a "chef hobbiest."  Cake decorating is his favorite.  However, he also enjoys the challenge of developing special request recipes for his wife and children.
